The association
Cosmet’in Lyon promotes the dermocosmetology resources and skills of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region to the global beauty industry.
For 60 years, the association has organized round tables, conferences, training courses and meetings of the highest scientific level, such as the Skin Science Days, the famous European Dermocosmetology Days which bring together experts every two years, giving them access to the latest advances in research.
Cosmet’in Lyon is a scientific association, human and accessible, professional and expert. Respect, solidarity and sharing, as well as excellence, innovation and scientific rigor, are at the heart of its project and actions.

BioMeca®, based in Lyon (France) supports the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries in understanding the mechanisms of action and biomechanical effects of active ingredients, finished products and therapeutic molecules.
Founded in 2016 by two biophysics researchers, BioMeca® has found its place on the international dermocosmetology market. By 2022,
BioMeca is expanding its portfolio, offering solutions from in vitro to in vivo, with the launch of EASYSTIFF, a portable biomechanical measurement device. Thanks to BioMeca®, the terms rigidity, elasticity and visco-elasticity now find their scientific meaning in cosmetic claims.
